About the Atlanta Chapter

Welcome to the most resourceful professional organization in the world! The Association of Legal Administrators (ALA) was formed over 30 years ago to enhance the education of legal managers and promote the profession of legal administrators all over the world.

In 1977, a small group of administrators in Atlanta formed the Atlanta Chapter of the Association of Legal Administrators (AALA). Today, the AALA has over 250 members. Our membership has produced not only local leaders, but ALA officers at the regional and international level.

I believe the key element in the past, present and future growth and success of this great organization is the participation of its members. ALA members exchange phone calls and emails on a daily basis sharing ideas and business experiences with their colleagues. The commitment to assisting fellow members is why ALA is one of the strongest networks of any professional association.

As members, we are also fortunate to have an equally committed group of vendors at the local and national level. These companies not only provide products and services unique to the legal environment, but many of these organizations also support various chapters as well as the national headquarters on a financial level.
