All About Noah:
1. I am responsible for the firm’s day to day administrative operations and the Firm’s personnel.
2. I became a legal administrator because Gary Blasingame needed time to interview potential Office Managers and asked that I fill in – still filling in 12 years later!
3. The thing I like best about being a legal administrator is working with people I love and respect.
4. The thing I like least about being a legal administrator is terminating people, but luckily happens rarely.
5. The hardest situation I have had to deal with is when Seab Ashley, one of our shareholders passed away.
6. A major issue facing legal administrators today is finding ways to keep attorneys and staff’s morale up in touch economic times.
7. To be successful, legal administrators have to be able to put aside personal feelings – not taking things personally.
8. As a legal administrator, I never thought I would have to plunge toilets!
9. The best advice I’ve received from a fellow legal administrator is – this may sound corny but ALL advice is the best. I am usually in dire need of help whenever I ask and you all are always there!
10. I think legal administrators are important to the legal industry because they can act as a liaison between staff and attorneys and add a different perspective.
11. I know I am in the right profession when my staff tells me how happy they are to work at BBGA.
12. In the office, I try to set an example by working as hard as I can, being professional, following the rules and laughing at myself.
13. I try to encourage my staff to think of the Firm as their second family.
14. If I wasn’t a legal administrator I would be a – is there a better job?
15. I joined ALA/AALA because I loved the “community” feel of AALA right away. Everyone wants to share knowledge and be helpful.
16. I use my membership in ALA/AALA by driving you crazy with all my questions on the list serve!
17. Three words that best describe me are positive, high energy, high maintenance. (Polled by my staff! Their answers!)
