AALA Past President's Council
 Mission: The Past Presidents' Council works closely with the Board of Directors and is often called upon for recommendations and guidance relating to chapter management matters.

Association/Bar Relations Committee
 Mission: The Association/Bar Relations Committee was formed to maintain a strong working relationship with the local and state Bar Associations and Legal Associations. This committee helps educate the Atlanta legal community about how AALA members enhance and strengthen law firm administration. The Committee facilitates the mutual exchange of speakers for seminars, articles for newsletters and other community building activities with local and voluntary bar associations and legal associations.

Community Relations Committee
 Mission: The Chapter takes seriously its responsibility to give back and support the community in which we work. The Community Relations Committee sponsors numerous events in an effort to participate in the social growth of our community. This year we will be sponsoring Hands on Atlanta's legal community project, Service Juris in June.  Mission: The Diversity Committee has the prime responsibility for increasing diversity in the Association, in the legal management community and in all legal service organizations.

Education Committee
 Mission: This committee puts together the speakers for the ten annual speaker series meetings.

Gene Henson Scholarship Committee
 Mission: Our mission is to provide ongoing training and continuing education for our members, and to support education in our community. The AALA Gene Henson Scholarship, a 501(c)(3) organization, sponsors a Scholarship to be awarded to an outstanding senior enrolled in one of our local public high schools who is interested in attending an accredited higher learning institution. Membership Committee
 Mission: The strength of the Atlanta Chapter rests solely on its membership. The efficiency of the Chapter is assured when new members, with new ideas and energy join and participate. The primary goal of the Membership Committee is to reach those individuals within our profession who will benefit from membership in the ALA.

New Member Mentoring Committee
 Mission: It is widely recognized that we can all learn from others, and we can all teach others. A lot of this happens naturally. This program is designed to supplement what happens naturally by eliminating barriers and bringing together those who are willing to share with one another. Newsletter Committee
 Mission: The Chapter produces a quarterly e-Newsletter for its members. The purpose of the newsletter is to provide educational and informative articles on legal management issues and to keep members up-to-date on Chapter events and important ALA news. The AALA e-Newsletter was voted the best electronic chapter newsletter in the 2004 ALA Education Conference in Philadelphia and the 2007 ALA Education Conference in Las Vegas.

Nominating Committee
 Mission: This group is responsible for nominating future Board members.

Salary Survey Committee
 Mission: Responsible for organizing the annual Atlanta Salary Survey for members.

Vendor Relations Committee
 Mission: The Vendor Relations Committee was formed to address issues between the Atlanta Chapter and its vendors. The Committee also serves as a liaison between the Chapter's newsletter advertising, web site advertising and Business Partner Luncheon. The Committee holds yearly focus group meetings with business partners to gather feedback on how the Chapter is meeting their needs.
